Responsibilities
Manager Processing & Quality Unit – Grade: AVP-I/VP
- Develop strategy for the unit aligned with credit card business goals.
- Design operational models and scheduling systems to ensure processing within TAT (Turnaround Time) and quality standards.
- Create systems (possibly automated) to update branches and channels on processing status regularly.
- Develop MIS (Management Information System) for updates on processing progress, top RTS (Return to Sales) reasons, TAT and inventory.
- Implement internal controls for KYC data validation, and reference checks.
- Regularly interact with key departments like Sales, CIU, Product, Risk and Verification for alignment and process improvements.
- Handle incoming credit card applications from all channels.
- Perform technical reviews to ensure application files are complete and meet policy requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales team on rejection reviews for timely resolution and contested case processing.
- Promote best practices in processing, training and teamwork.
- Lead daily operations of the processing unit to ensure high performance and timely task completion.
- Supervise direct reports, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all tasks.
- Maintain daily/monthly MIS of application status (logins, approvals, rejections, RTS).
- Hire, train, coach and mentor team members and ensure succession planning.
- Organize training sessions to improve team skills and performance.
