Job Responsibilities – Infrastructure Engineer
- System Infrastructure Support
Provide expert support in managing and maintaining system storage, virtualization environments and backup recovery systems. - Virtualization & Backup Solutions
Design, configure and support virtualization platforms and backup solutions including disaster recovery strategies. - Server Administration
Perform administration tasks on Linux, Unix and Windows servers including performance tuning, patching and firmware upgrades. - Automation & Scripting
Use automation tools like Ansible or Chef and scripting (e.g., bash) to manage and streamline system operations. - Storage Technologies
Handle software-defined storages and protocols such as CIFS, NFS, Object Storage and S3. - CI/CD & DevOps Support
Support CI/CD infrastructure including platforms like Openshift and ensure efficient development and deployment cycles. - Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
Diagnose and resolve complex issues in computing platforms, storage systems and virtualized environments. - Security & Hardening
Ensure systems are secure by implementing hardening procedures and managing system updates and patches. - Documentation & Reporting
